If time allows, enjoy optional Nairobi city tours: visit the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or browse local art and beadwork at the Maasai Market. End the evening with a welcome dinner featuring authentic Kenyan cuisine.
Travel Tip: Arrive early to enjoy an optional guided Nairobi city tour before check-in.
Your Kenya Safari adventure begins tomorrow in the wild!

Day 2 – Nairobi to Tsavo East – Land of the Red Elephants
After breakfast, drive southeast toward Tsavo East National Park (~5–6 hours) – one of Kenya’s oldest and largest wildlife safari parks. Known as The Theatre of the Wild, Tsavo East offers classic Kenya safari experiences: red-dust elephants, vast open plains, and the scenic Galana River.
Check in at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, overlooking Aruba Dam, where wildlife gathers year-round. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in search of lions, buffalo, zebras, and giraffes.
Photography Tip: Capture red-dusted elephants against Tsavo’s glowing sunsets.
Distance: ~330 km | Drive Time: ~5–6 hrs
Day 3 – Full Day in Tsavo East – Big Skies & Big Game
Set out early for a sunrise game drive – the best time for Big Five sightings. Watch elephants by the river and lions returning from the night’s hunt.
Later, relax at the lodge or join your guide to explore Mudanda Rock – a natural viewpoint where elephants gather – then continue to Lugard Falls along the Galana River, home to hippos and crocodiles.
Safari Moment: Watching elephants cross the Galana River at sunset – a quintessential Kenya safari scene.
Day 4 – Tsavo East to Tsavo West – From Savannah to Volcanic Hills
After breakfast, journey (~3–4 hours) to Tsavo West National Park, known for its striking volcanic landscapes, rolling hills, and lush springs. Arrive at Severin Safari Camp for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water from Mount Kilimanjaro sustains hippos and crocodiles, and explore the vast Shetani Lava Flow, a dramatic field of solidified lava.
Did You Know? Tsavo West hosts one of Kenya’s key black rhino sanctuaries.
Distance: ~150 km | Drive Time: ~3–4 hrs
Day 5 – Full Day in Tsavo West – Rhino Sanctuary & Wild Horizons
Early morning Kenya safari tour into the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a vital refuge for endangered black rhinos. Along the way, you may also encounter elephants, antelopes, and – with luck – a leopard resting in the acacia trees.
Return for breakfast and leisure, then enjoy an afternoon game drive bathed in Tsavo West’s golden light.
Safari Moment: Spotting a leopard at dusk with Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance – a breathtaking highlight of your Kenya wildlife safari holiday.
Day 6 – Tsavo West to Nairobi – Farewell to the Wild
