Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Pita Safaris representative and transferred to your comfortable budget Hotel in Arusha. Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania's legendary Northern Safari Circuit and the perfect starting point for your adventure. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing after your flight and preparing for the exciting safari ahead. If time permits, optional experiences such as an Arusha city tour, Cultural Heritage Centre visit, or local market experience can be arranged.

Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive towards Lake Manyara National Park, located beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival, begin your game drive through the park's diverse landscapes of groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and lakeshore habitats. Watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, baboons, hippos, and abundant birdlife. Lake Manyara is also famous for its occasional tree-climbing lions, offering an exciting start to your Tanzania wildlife safari.

Day 3: Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park

As you approach the Serengeti, the landscape opens into endless golden plains, where large herds of wildebeest and zebras move alongside gazelles and other antelope species. Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Depending on the day's route and timing, an optional visit to Olduvai Gorge can be arranged for travelers interested in archaeology and human evolution. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park

Tarangire's dramatic baobab landscapes provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography before you depart the park and drive back towards Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
